Privacy Policy

Public Beta — PayPal subscription terms version paypal-live-2026-10-16-v1. This paid-service version takes effect when Live checkout is activated; the checkout review shows the applicable version.

1. Operator and contact

CK Snooker Scoreboard is operated by CK Corporation Company Limited, 9-1-7-841 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0052, Japan. Contact support@ck-corporation.com for privacy questions or requests. The intended service area is worldwide, subject to applicable law and availability. This does not mean that the same privacy rules apply in every country.

2. Information we receive

Google sign-in supplies a verified identity identifier and issuer, name, email address and email-verification status. We store account details and session records, including a browser label and session activity times. We do not ask for your Google password or permission to read Gmail, contacts or Drive. You may provide player names, optional country or region, saved profiles, favourites, table preferences, match setup, scoring events, results, logos and theme settings. Account usage, access grants and administrative actions are recorded. Support requests contain the information you send us.

3. Player and opponent information

A player named in a match may not have a CK or Google account. The person entering or sharing player information must have a lawful basis or other required authority and give any notice required to those players. Signing in as the scorer does not obtain consent on behalf of every opponent. Players can contact support@ck-corporation.com about information concerning them; provide enough match or account context to locate it without sending a private share link.

4. Purposes and technical records

We use identity and session information for sign-in, access control and account security; player and match information for scoring, display, history, statistics and requested exports; and logos and themes for the branding you apply. Usage records enforce allowances and preserve admitted-match access. Administrative audit, security and diagnostic records support investigation, fault recovery and fraud or abuse prevention. Network infrastructure processes connection information, including IP addresses, and may retain security or operational logs. We do not describe an unauthenticated viewer as anonymous data when names or other identifiable information are displayed. Any processing basis or consent required by applicable law must be established for the relevant purpose.

5. Share Display

When an owner enables Share Display, a person holding a valid link or QR code can read the permitted table’s names, country flags, scores, match status and effective branding without signing in. The grant does not permit score changes or access to private account, payment or administration pages. Valid links can be viewed from any network. Treat the link as private access information. Rotation, revocation and expiry stop further authorised access and ongoing connections are checked; they cannot erase screenshots or copies already obtained by viewers.

6. Cookies, browser storage and installed web apps

Necessary cookies support authentication and guest access. Browser storage holds preferences, selected-table state, access information where required and pending-command recovery information. Session and local storage have different lifetimes. The installed web app caches only a neutral offline page and public CK icons; it does not cache private score, account, billing or administration responses for offline use. An open page may retain last-confirmed information in memory with a stale state. Clearing browser storage can sign you out or remove local access information. The landing page has no advertising pixels, analytics or third-party chat.

7. Providers, payment information and disclosure

Google handles sign-in under its own policies. DigitalOcean supplies the currently used hosting infrastructure. PayPal processes subscription payments under its own terms and privacy policy. The buyer confirms payment with PayPal; CK does not receive the buyer’s PayPal password or full card or bank credentials. CK receives subscription and transaction identifiers, plan, amount, currency, payment status, billing-period and adjustment information, and payment notifications that may contain payer information. These records are linked to the CK account that initiated the purchase to verify payment, provide paid access, manage renewal and cancellation, process authorised adjustments and investigate payment issues. A PayPal payer email need not match the CK Google account email and does not merge accounts. Authorised administrators access information needed for support, security and operations. Disclosure may also be required by law or needed to protect lawful rights.

8. International processing

The operator is based in Japan. The current application hosting region is London, United Kingdom. Google and other authorised providers may also process information outside Japan. This policy does not assert that all information stays in Japan or that a general acceptance of these terms supplies every consent required for overseas processing. Ask the support address about the arrangements relevant to your information.

9. Retention and backups

Information is retained while reasonably necessary to provide the account and service, address support, security incidents or disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Match and administrative history are not automatically erased when a profile is archived, a logo is disabled or a subscription ends. Live assets, deletion records, audit records, billing records and backup copies require separate handling. Current backup procedures retain the seven newest complete backup sets; this is an operational snapshot count, not a promise to delete personal data after seven days. A fixed retention schedule and deletion procedure still require approval. Restores must reconcile deletion and access-revocation records before affected data can be served again. No immediate deletion from every backup or off-host protection guarantee is made.

10. Access, correction and deletion requests

Email support@ck-corporation.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or cessation of use, or other rights available under applicable law. This channel is available to account holders and named players. We may need to verify identity or authority; do not send passwords, authenticator codes or recovery codes. We will assess the request and explain applicable limits and response requirements. Account deletion is currently a support process, not a self-service Delete Account button. Subscription cancellation, profile archival, logo removal and account deletion are distinct actions. You may contact the relevant supervisory authority where applicable.

11. Security and young players

Access controls, encrypted connections, session controls and additional administrator verification help protect the service. No system guarantees absolute security. Applicable incident assessment and notification duties remain in force. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information about players. An adult or organisation recording information about young players must check the authority and notices required for that context. Contact support about information concerning a child.

12. Changes and effective version

The original public-beta policy took effect on 15 October 2026. The payment-processing update takes effect with Live checkout activation under the version shown above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. This policy does not claim certification of legal compliance in every country. Contact support@ck-corporation.com with privacy questions.
