PUBLIC BETA

Terms and Conditions

Public Beta — PayPal subscription terms version paypal-live-2026-10-16-v1. This paid-service version takes effect when Live checkout is activated; the checkout review shows the applicable version.

1. Operator and service

CK Corporation Company Limited, 9-1-7-841 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0052, Japan, operates CK Snooker Scoreboard. Contact support@ck-corporation.com. CK provides scoring, display and record-management tools. It does not independently verify the facts entered by scorers or promise certified competition results. No federation endorsement is claimed. Intended worldwide availability is subject to applicable law and service availability. Mandatory consumer and privacy rights are preserved.

2. Accounts, authority and current availability

The application remains available as a public beta. Google sign-in is required to purchase a paid subscription. Account holders must have authority to use the service and, where relevant, act for their club or organisation. A player profile is not a Google or CK account. Keep account and authorised-device access secure and report suspected misuse. A shared-display viewer has read-only access, not the owner’s account permissions. Any authority, parental consent or notice required by applicable law must be obtained before using the service or recording information about young players.

3. Free and paid-plan allowances

Under the standard policy, Free membership has one lifetime match per account and one enabled table, not one free match each month or each frame. Starter allows up to two enabled tables; Club up to ten. Table limits count enabled tables, not devices. All three tiers use the shared mini-scoreboard layout. Custom logos and themes require active Club access. Paid access does not consume unused lifetime Free allowance, and expiry does not replenish an allowance already consumed. Guest allowance and authorised account-specific adjustments are separate. Match creation and starting play remain subject to server checks.

4. Approved monthly prices and checkout status

Starter costs USD 4.99 per calendar month and Club costs USD 9.99 per calendar month. These totals include applicable taxes; CK adds no extra tax, setup fee, shipping charge, trial, annual commitment or payment-processing surcharge. PayPal or the buyer’s funding provider may apply its own currency-conversion terms where the funding currency differs from USD. Prices, monthly renewal and the relevant conditions are shown for review before the buyer personally confirms at PayPal. Viewing prices, opening the application or returning from PayPal does not itself purchase a subscription. CK billing history contains payment records, not tax invoices; contact support@ck-corporation.com for billing-document enquiries.

5. Payment verification and renewal

A subscription requests the first full monthly payment when the buyer confirms it at PayPal, with automatic monthly renewal according to the PayPal schedule until renewal is cancelled. There is no free trial. Paid access begins only after CK verifies a successful completed payment for the correct account, plan, amount and billing period. A browser return, approval or ACTIVE status alone is not proof of payment. Pending or failed payments do not extend access. Each verified renewal covers its provider calendar period rather than adding 30 days from notification arrival. Payment failures and any provider suspension are shown from verified provider information; CK does not automatically collect outstanding balances outside the approved plan.

6. Cancellation and paid access

To stop future renewal, use Subscription → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel auto-renewal, review the request and confirm it. You can also manage the automatic payment in your PayPal account, or contact support@ck-corporation.com if you need help. Cancellation remains pending until PayPal confirms it; an error or timeout does not mean renewal has stopped. Cancel before the next scheduled payment to avoid the next renewal; a payment already processing may require separate review. Verified paid, unrefunded access remains through the paid-through time shown in CK. Cancelling renewal does not automatically refund a payment. Signing out, removing the installed app, archiving a player or requesting account deletion does not by itself cancel the PayPal contract.

7. Plan changes and unused-period adjustments

Starter → Club is an immediate upgrade after a new full Club payment of USD 9.99 is verified. The buyer reviews and personally approves the replacement Club subscription at PayPal. Club starts a new monthly schedule; if payment is not completed, Starter stays unchanged. After verified Club payment, CK ends the old Starter access at that cutover, requests cancellation of the old renewal and verifies cancellation before refunding eligible unused Starter time to the original payment. The refund is the original paid amount multiplied by unused time divided by the actual paid-period length, rounded down to the nearest USD cent. The estimate decreases while approval is pending; the final cutover is fixed when Club payment is verified. A zero-cent remainder produces no refund transaction. The Club charge and Starter refund are separate transactions, not a net charge. A pending cancellation, refund or review does not erase verified Club access. An ambiguous period, prior adjustment or conflicting payment requires review rather than an invented refund. Club → Starter requires PayPal approval and begins at the next verified paid cycle; the current paid Club period is preserved. Catalogue changes do not reprice existing contracts or rewrite historical payments.

8. Refund requests and mandatory remedies

Send support@ck-corporation.com the relevant payment reference and reason for a refund request, without card, bank or authentication secrets. Requests concerning payment errors, service issues and mandatory remedies are reviewed case by case; no additional fixed request deadline or general automatic-refund promise is introduced. The unused-time upgrade refund described above is a separate defined workflow. A refund is completed only when verified as completed by PayPal. A refund and cancellation of future renewal are separate actions. A verified refund or reversal can change the related paid period without erasing the original payment record. Nothing here limits a refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

9. Match records, player information and sharing

Check the table, players and scores before confirming results. Creating a match saves setup; Start Match begins play and the clock. An admitted match may have continuation rights after access changes under the existing rules. Enter or upload only information and content you have authority to use, and give players any required notices. Share Display permits a valid-link holder to read the permitted display without signing in, from any network. Revoking or rotating a link stops further authorised access but cannot recall copies already made.

10. Content and acceptable use

You retain rights in your content and allow CK to process, store, display and export it only as needed to provide the requested service and sharing. This does not transfer ownership of your logo. Do not upload unlawful or infringing material, bypass access or usage controls, interfere with other users or compromise security. The operator may address misuse through proportionate restrictions and moderation; logo disablement or removal is separate from deletion of match or payment history. Contact support to raise a concern about a restriction.

11. Availability, exports and ending use

Browser, network, fullscreen, wake-lock and installed-web-app capabilities vary. Maintenance or faults may interrupt service. No uptime, zero-data-loss or successful recovery guarantee is given. Use available exports for important records. Installed web-app support is not a claim that native Apple or Android store apps or store billing are available. Account closure and deletion requests go through support and remain subject to necessary retention and applicable law. They do not silently cancel a payment contract or erase every backup.

12. Liability, disputes and changes

Contact support so that a problem can be investigated. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable restrictions concerning intentional misconduct or gross negligence. No monetary liability cap, exclusive court, mandatory arbitration or waiver of consumer rights is imposed. Material changes and their effective date must be communicated as required before they apply. The original public-beta terms applied from 15 October 2026; this paid-service update takes effect with Live checkout activation under the version shown above.
